I thought it may be helpful to add copies of our IVA (IVA 1C and IVA 4) and registration documents (V55/4) to the website to aid anyone else that needs to fill them in. Guidance for filling in both forms can be found on the gov.uk website.
We waited 7 weeks from booking our IVA to the date of the first test (and another 3 for the continuation) and 5 weeks for the registration.
As you can see from the IVA paperwork we added a google drive link to some photos as that seemed like the easiest way to allow the testers access. We actually put the VIN stamp on a front crossmember and not on the front of the pedal box but this didnt cause us any issues. I have omited the first and last page as they only contain personal information and do not need any guidance to help fill them in. You also need to fill in and send away an amateur build declaration but that is straight forward enough. I've filled in another registration form for use on the website many weeks after sending away the original so double check it's all correct before sending yours away but I think it's all there!
Date of manufacture in the IVA 1C is your finish date (whichever month it is when you send the paperwork off will do, whilst the year of registration on the V55/C is the year of registration you are applying for e.g. our donor was 2004 so we applied for an age related plate to match but if you used enough new parts you could use the same date as you date of manufacture to get a new/current plate.
