The front fuel system consists of the swirl pot, HP pump, fuel rail & injectors and the fuel pressure regulator.
Once the throttle bodies are on the engine and the fuel rail in place, this can all be plumbed in.
Make sure you use genuine Jubilee clips on all the high pressure bits. They are much better than the cheap imitations at applying an equal clamping pressure all the way around the pipe and so are less prone to leaks.
GBS provide a nice little stainless bracket with their ATR fuel pressure regulator. We bent it 90 degrees to allow us to fit the regulator to the drivers footwell bulkhead. There's plenty of space, and it provides a neat solution
I found this handy guide lurking in the shadows on the Kitspares Website. Should you chose to purchase the ATR swirl pot, this is where all the pipes go!
Be careful if you are buying an EBay swirl pot, you need the large diameter feed to the fuel pump or you run the risk of cavitating as the fuel pump creates a vacuum and you will probably have no end of bubbly stuttery fuelling issues.
We purchased a whole fuel kit from GBS. Nice components and it all just fits and works. You can source it all yourself, but you might not get the little details to match - I like that the ATR fuel pressure regulator matches the other anodised parts!
