Pipe straightener is the blue thing, centre of shot
'Pro' tip here... Prototype your brake lines out of some stiff wire first. It's much cheaper than Cunifer brake pipe.
But seriously, template it all out in wire and buy yourself a pipe straightener. Bear in mind you can only really straighten Cunifer once or twice before you work harden it to the point it gets brittle and breaks.
Also, if you own a flaring tool, learn how to use it properly on some offcuts. What's that saying? 'All the gear, and no idea'?
Matt's trusty Poundland (probably) pipe bender did the job
Neat eh! These will all get nicely P-clipped into place
Our master cylinder only has 2 outlets, we have been told 'teeing' the front lines won't screw up braking performance...
It looks like the brake pipes that run to the front have just been chucked in there... There is definitely a plan, maybe...
We dog-legged the fuel lines in the tunnel to try and even out things running past the congested handbrake linkage area
Fuel lines are pretty straightforward IF YOU KNOW WHAT SIZE GROMMETS YOU NEED FOR THE FUEL LINE HOLES IN THE CHASSIS
For some reason our 'full fuel kit' didn't come with the grommets you need to run the fuel lines through the chassis. After lots of searching on eBay Matt was drawing a blank.
Obviously with it being 2021 and living in the UK, the grommets you need are imperial... Fortunately, Matt was working near GBS that week and dropped in to pick some up. Still don't know what size they are!
Side note, drilling the chassis to accept P clips etc. can be a pain with a normal drill (and even Matt's teeny impact driver with a drill bit in it)
Matt: 'Grr... an angle drill thingy is going on my birthday list...'
Birthday list: 'Hold my beer'
