"Looking much tidier!"
We decided to cut the carpets ourselves to save some pennies. We wanted something good quality, without having to sell a kidney on the black market.
When we visited Intatrim, Robyn recommended we use Martrim Superwool. However, it transpired that Superwool is more expensive than its own weight in Gold...
We settled for Martrim's tufted Nylon carpet. A 4m roll 1.5m wide should do the car. A nesting programme was required to ensure everything fit tightly after ordering what turned out to be just(!) enough.
Carpeting was Kathryn's job as Matt does not have the patience for these sorts of jobs and would happily just pay a man.
It's actually relatively easy to template from the panels
Cuts easily with a good sharp carbide knife blade or decent scissors
A floor panel being fitted up
Some spray on contact adhesive did the job
We did the sides first...
The end panels just needed a little more trimming to adjust for the thickness of the carpet either side.
Interior carpets, done.
