Patience had been wearing a bit thin in camp trying to weld up the rear tub (story for another page)
So we decided to do something with immediate satisfaction. Fit some shiny anodised aluminium bits!
This all went together like a breeze. Really impressed with the fit and quality of the ATR front end
Advice would be to clean out the M12 holes in the ends of the wishbones that accept the rose joints. They were a bit full of weld, slag and paint. Doesn't take much effort with a a tap and a bit of oil, well worth doing to save you the pain of twisting in your rose joints with a lot of effort.
Still really impressed by how nicely it all fits together!
All together! Only really took a couple of hours. The ATR front end really does seem like a sensible investment, all nicely anodised, correct geometry for the car and well thought out. A credit to GBS.
