A bit about us

Matt's a Chartered Civil Engineer by trade but loves to have a 'hands on' project on the go at all times. He founded the successful Karting team at his high school in his youth, with help from his dad and his D&T teacher, and his love of vehicles and mechnicary grew from there. His pride and joy is his 1995 Defender 90. There's not much that's original, it's had it all, including a brand new galvanised chassis in the winter of 2019. Matt has always wanted a kit car, so finding himself between projects and ready for a new challenge it was inevitable...

Kathryn's a Pharmacist by trade but her real love is being outside and being practical. she has always been into cars and started her journey when she was younger, stripping an old Range Rover with a friend with the aim to turn it into a Defender comp safari racer. They got 90% there but that's when her friend decided to just sell it all for parts. They also completely stripped an old Discovery that they had used for off-roading and sold it for parts. Kathryn too has always wanted a kit car but with far more experience of taking dirty old cars apart than putting them back together. That's where Matt comes in, he doesn't like the dirty jobs and Kathryn loves wielding a sledge hammer and crowbar - so we are the perfect pairing really!
