A quick trip to Rotherham with a borrowed car trailer that wasn't really big enough for an MX-5 and et-voila, the Shazda found its final resting place in Staffordshire, depositing Iron Oxide (amongst other things) on our drive!
There was a bit of haggling, but fortunately, the seller appreciated they were selling a bit of a dog!
As you can see, the Shazda had had some 'interesting' repair jobs during its life.
Chances of it passing its next MOT - slim to none! Its integral rust - not likely to hold on for much longer.
No bother for us, what use is a body to a kit car builder!?
With the condition of the 'useless' bits of the car reflected in the price, we were happy with the purchase of BOJ.
The exact moment Kathryn realised the reg plate was mildly amusing.
Hopefully, the plate wasn't going to be a reflection of the build to come!
